Dumpling Girl

My Travel Essentials!

I’ll be traveling in the weekends and I will obviously bring some travel essentials so why not show them to you guys? Yess, lets get started.

So first of all I will bring my Kipling backpack, it is spacious, big and comfortable to wear at a long journey like this.I bring lots of things so that’s why I needed this bag. I also love this shade of purple, sort of the eggplant shade of purple ya know.

PHONE!! This is a must have, everyone should bring their phone. No excuses.

As a girl, you will always bring cosmetics. Or maybe just a simple lip balm just that. Hand cream, lip gloss, hand sanitizer, and maybe makeups. I haven’t wear make up so I just go for the beginners as in lip gloss and yeah you know. I  put them all in one cute cosmetic bag that I bought from Bath and Body Works. Hands up for those of you who are fans of Bath and Body Works. The bag is so cute and I love it very much.

Next should be tissues. Bring dry and wet tissues just in case. Stay hygiene is really important especially when you are traveling. So keep that in mind. And I also love the cute packaging of my tissues it just brings out the fun. 🙂

Bringing a water bottle is also important. Again not only stay hygiene but also stay hydrate and not dehydrate. Going on a long journey could get you thirsty so drink lots of water all right.

I’m a bookworm so I pretty much bring a book everywhere I go. I’m currently reading ‘Let it Snow’ by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle. It’s a tale from three different authors, three different perspective, and three different tales and when join together its..speechless. No what’s the right word..stunning? Surprising? I don’t know It’s just amazing.

Last but not the least, earphones. Listening to music will make time run faster. To me . When there’s some noise going on simply put on your earphones and play music. But to me listening to music isn’t important and that’s why I put it as my last.

So that is all of my travel essentials, just want to share it with you guys and yeah. Toodles 😀

Oh and as you can see I don’t have a theme color for my things I just go for crazy colors such as purple, turquoise, pink, mustard yellow, and so on.

P.S. sorry for the bad quality photo.

The sky goes purple

I love editing pics. All the lighting, filters and little editing smudges could go for hours of fun. I just use a simple camera application, because I’m still a beginner. :p

But yeah it is highly addictive, once I’m on my camera apps, there’s no turning back. Just staying there and edit till I’m satisfied with it.

Here is my latest edit pic. The lighting now is more of pale purple and baby blue shade. Cute and perfect for a wallpaper.

The app I use is called Candy Camera. 🙂

The City That Never Sleep

No kidding. The city that never sleeps also known as Makkah Al Mukarramah or Makkah for short. Makkah is always full of people visiting the holy mosque everyday. People wanting to perform hajj, umrah, prayers, reciting Quran, or simply doa.

My family have this opportunity to visit Makkah or Madinah easily, because we live nearby.  Now that I’m leaving this country soon my family got to use every opportunity we get to visit this two cities.

When you have an opportunity, use it. Don’t waste, because you don’t know will that opportunity be given again.

Brownie Pizza

I. Love. Brownies. I had always love brownies and they are always welcome to my tummy. Today I have tried baking brownie pizza. Inspired by Pizza Hut brownie pizza. So thank you very much. Now I am not a chocolate fan, but I only like chocolates, brownies, and fudge. Those are the only chocolate foods that I enjoy eating.

Baking brownie pizza is really easy. Just use brownie pizza recipe, a round tray, and few chocolate chips on top. Or put any other topping you would like.

In this recipe I used Hersheys chocolate powder and chocolate chips, because I love Hersheys and it taste really yummy.

Brownie Pizza recipe:

  • 250g butter
  • 430g (2 cups) caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 225g(1 1/2 cups) patent flour
  • 80g (3/4 cup) cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Step 1: Preheat oven to 180’c. Line a 20x30cm (base measurement) slab pan with non-stick baking paper or butter.

Step 2: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cool the butter when it’s melted. Stir in the sugar. Add eggs one at a time, and stir mixture until thick and glossy.

Step 3: Sift flour and cocoa powder over egg mixture. Stir in vanilla then pour into pan.

Step 4: Pour chocolate chips on your tray or if you prefer other toppings( eg. marshmallows, gummies, etc put it now)

Step 5: Bake for 30 minutes or until skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Set aside in the pan to cool completely. Cut into eight slices, and BOOM your brownie pizza is ready to be eaten.

My Kitties

I love my cats, named Harrie and TT. They are adorable, little fuzzy creatures with smelly breath. Who cares if they’re 8 years old ( in human world but 50 in cat world). This two lovebirds are so adorable together. They are also very fat. Fat, fat, fat cat. All they do now is eat and sleep just like lazy people would do.

My favorite cat is Harrie, because he is very cute, adorable, and he always listen to your long chats and talks when no one is there for you. When I’m all alone he would accompany me and sleep by my side. When we have KFC or any chicken meals he would sit by me and meow until I gave him some of mine. Haha he is such a baby.  His favorite hangout is my room, so of course he would stay here most of the time like now.

I will miss him so much when I leave home..I hope he feels the same XD

New Here

To be honest, I do not know where to start. I am new to this whole blogging thing, but it have always been my dream to blog. The reason why I haven’t start earlier is, because I was scared and nervous at the same time. ‘Should I tell my friends about me started blogging?’ ‘Will they laugh at me and my horrible blog?’ ‘Or should I continue on my quest and not tell them?’ This are the thoughts that had been bothering me over the past weeks. I finally have the courage to do a blog and I am proud of it.

Please leave a comment, because I would love to read some good comments and tips about my blog.
